Moving from Pakistan, or struggling to find housing or work after arriving, is where Pakistan Welfare Organisation Australia steps in. It is a non-profit run by volunteers who work alongside community members, local businesses and other organisations.
Services include counselling, job placement help, legal aid, language classes and food assistance, along with guidance for people looking for accommodation. The organisation also runs multicultural events, speaks up against discrimination and racism, and sends humanitarian aid to people in need in Pakistan.
Please mention that you found them on Melbourne Local Guide.
