Muslim students at the University of Melbourne pray at this musalla on Pelham Street in Carlton. The University of Melbourne Islamic Society (UMIS), which represents Muslim students, maintains the campus musallahs and runs Jummah each week.
UMIS also brings students together through its Grand Iftar, seminars and workshops, and social events, and campaigns on causes including Indigenous rights and international relief.
