Every piece Suzi Zutic sells is handmade and bespoke, from engagement and wedding rings to earrings and one-off statement jewellery. Suzi is a certified gemmologist with further study in diamond grading and stone setting, and she also trained as an interior designer.
Her work draws on old techniques such as enamelling, engraving, lost-wax casting and gem faceting, and often borrows forms from historical jewellery. Some pieces look deliberately archaic, with rough castings studded with small stones; others are bright and intricate. Her jewellery is stocked by galleries in Australia and New Zealand, and she works from a suite on level 9 of the Nicholas Building at 37 Swanston Street.
