Husband and wife Farid and Narges Bahrami opened Salang in 2010, wanting a modern place to sit down to Afghan food in Dandenong. Between them they bring more than 30 years of experience cooking and catering Afghan cuisine.
Dishes are cooked to order, and the chef prepares them the way she would for her own family at home. The dining room seats up to 100, making it a regular choice for birthdays, work dinners and get-togethers. For larger events such as weddings and engagements, Salang caters off-site.
