Project Us Foundation channels zakat and sadaqah into three programs. The community initiative delivers fresh food bags to families under financial stress, along with free financial and computer literacy courses. The children’s initiative supports orphans’ education and health and works to keep Muslim children in foster care connected to their faith and culture. The elderly initiative includes helping older community members read the Quran.
The foundation is led by Fatma, who has more than 15 years in financial services, and also runs emergency appeals, recently for Lebanon. Volunteers are welcome.
