A taste of Iran on Station Street: this Box Hill North store is the second branch of Persian Halal Butchery & Grocery, which also trades on Jackson Court in Doncaster East. The business was started by Iranian immigrants who wanted to offer Melbourne the meats and groceries they grew up with.
Expect a halal butcher counter with fresh and marinated meats, plus Persian grocery essentials. The group has since opened the Persian Halal Restaurant in partnership with entrepreneur Behnam Zare.
