Oasis began as a modest food store, opened in 1998 by the Makool family, who came to Melbourne from Lebanon in the 1970s. It now has two large stores, this one on North Road in Murrumbeena and another in Fairfield.
Under one roof you’ll find a café, a big grocery range with food from around the world, a deli and fresh produce. There’s also a cooking school and event space, and the kitchen takes catering orders.
