Rice and curry sets are the backbone of Nasi Kandar Penang, as you’d expect from a shop named after Penang’s famous rice-and-curry tradition. The Brunswick kitchen also does nasi lemak, nasi goreng mamak, mee goreng and bihun goreng from the wok, plus roti and other breads.
There are curries on their own, fried snacks, kids’ meals and weekend specials, and the dessert side covers shaved ice, fresh soy milk, smoothies and fruit. It’s at 625 Sydney Road, and orders can be placed ahead for pick-up.
