Modesty Collection was set up in 2013 by the Tamuryani family, who saw how far people in Melbourne had to travel to find Islamic products. From one shop in Dandenong it has grown to four, including this one at Epping Plaza on High Street.
Clothing and hijabs are only part of the range. There are Qur’an translations in 26 languages, Islamic books, prayer mats, perfumes, frames and home décor, electronics, Zam Zam water and Ajwa dates. A wholesale arm, My Ummah, supplies institutions and resellers.
