Masjid Al-Sahabah opened in Seymour in 2019 under the guidance of Mownala Muhammad Ilyas Ghumman, following the beliefs of Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah. Locally it aims to support people of every background in the town.
The prayer room is large enough for Jumu’ah, Eid, Ramadan gatherings and nikah ceremonies. Teachers run classes in Qur’an, Sunnah and Arabic, along with tazkiyah and aqeedah sessions, and the imam on site answers fatwa questions.
