Madrasah al-Muhajirin, the “School of Migrants”, is a weekend madrasah at Zakwell Court, Coolaroo, open to Muslim families across Melbourne’s northern suburbs. It teaches children the basics of Islamic knowledge from the Quran and Sunnah, aiming to raise young Muslims who are confident, compassionate and committed to contributing to the wider community.
The school is run by the Muhajiroon Community Development Association and has moved between several campuses since it began.
