Iqra and tajweed are the starting point at Learn Quran & Arabic Centre, where students learn to read the Quran with correct pronunciation before moving on to Quranic Arabic, grammar and memorisation. Islamic studies for children, a children’s hifz program and evening classes for adults, in separate male and female groups, are also offered.
The teachers are Melbourne and Sydney based and include aleem and aleema with academic teaching experience. Groups are kept small, meet in person or online across Australia, and welcome reverts as well as school children and youth.
