Lazzat Kadah opened more than 25 years ago, founded by Zahid and his partner out of a love of traditional Pakistani cooking. The kitchen now gives that heritage a modern touch, and its butter chicken has become the dish regulars return for.
Breads are made by hand and tandoori platters arrive sizzling, all cooked to order. Manager Jawad looks after the dining room, where some of the early customers now come with children of their own. Plans to relocate were dropped, so the restaurant stays at 61-63 Sydney Road.
