Lazeeza means “deliciousness”, and the restaurant was started by a mother who migrated to Melbourne and wanted to share the Pakistani and Indian food she grew up with. Everything is halal.
Beef nihari is slow-cooked for eight hours with bone marrow, and the chicken biryani layers marinated chicken through spiced basmati rice. Karahi and seekh kebabs fill out the mains, and a traditional Pakistani breakfast is served too. Drinks run to lassi and chai. Eat in on Bonwick Street, take away, or order online.
