J. was founded in Pakistan in 2002 to revive traditional dress, starting with the shalwar kameez, and has since opened outlets in Australia, the UK, Canada, New Zealand and the Gulf. This store is on Sydney Road in Brunswick.
For women there are ready-to-wear three-piece suits, kurtis and seasonal unstitched fabric. Men’s kameez shalwar include the Autograph collection, and there are matching separates for teen girls and a kids’ range. J. also sells fragrances and gift sets, in fabrics from lawn and cambric to chiffon and silk.
