ISRA, the Islamic Sciences and Research Academy, was founded on 16 November 2009 out of Australia’s interfaith dialogue movement. It brings the scholarly tradition of Islam together with university study.
Through a university partner, ISRA offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Arabic and Islamic Studies. Younger learners can join weekend classes for boys and girls aimed at strengthening their Muslim Australian identity, and online Qur’an classes run in small groups for every level. The Melbourne centre is on the Hume Highway in Somerton.
Please mention that you found them on Melbourne Local Guide.
