The Islamic Research & Educational Academy is a not-for-profit dawah organisation based on Dunlop Road, Hoppers Crossing. Its approach is grounded in comparative religion, sharing the message of Islam with non-Muslims through education and dialogue.
Projects over more than a decade have included Street Dawah stalls, the Australian Islamic Peace Conference, the “Say No To Islamophobia” campaign, a free Quran campaign, interfaith events and public debates, and the Craigieburn Masjid and Community Centre. IREA also produces media through its Dawah Studio and supports the local Muslim community.
