The name Millî Görüş comes from millah, a Qur’anic term (An-Nahl 16:123) for the community of Ibrahim, gathered around tawhid. Islamic Community Millî Görüş (ICMG) has been a home for Australian Muslims for more than 30 years and has branches in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia and Queensland.
On Papworth Place in Meadow Heights it offers daily prayers, Jummah and Quran classes, and all are welcome. Other Victorian branches are in Delahey, Brunswick, Mickleham, Dandenong and Kilmore. ICMG’s focus is teaching and practising Islam and passing it on to the next generation, alongside social, educational and cultural services.
Please mention that you found them on Melbourne Local Guide.
