Six pengajian, or Islamic study groups, came together in 1997 to form the Indonesian Muslim Community of Victoria, with support from the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Melbourne. The founding groups included pengajian in Brunswick and Westall and student societies at La Trobe and Monash.

IMCV has since grown into an umbrella for twelve registered study groups meeting across three community centres, and its address is in Clayton South. Its aims include promoting Islam among Indonesian Victorians, providing prayer and community facilities, education, poverty relief, and interfaith and civic engagement.

Please mention that you found them on Melbourne Local Guide.
