Turkish, Arabic and Qur’an classes are the focus of ICMG Education, a community school run as an initiative of ICMG Australia. The Turkish stream covers language and cultural studies from Prep to Year 10, while the Arabic stream follows the Victorian Curriculum for LOTE. Classes run weekly during school terms.
Teachers are native and heritage speakers, and lessons are structured for complete beginners as well as children who already speak the language at home. Adults and university students can enrol too, and the school also has campuses in New South Wales and South Australia.
