Every teacher at Ibn Masood Institute has memorised the Quran by heart; holding an ijaza for recitation alone is not enough to teach here. Teachers must also speak fluent English, and there are both male and female teachers.
The Hifz program has run for decades, and classes are open to boys, girls, men and women, with adult classes held online. Sessions must be booked in advance rather than walked into. The institute’s address is Lakeside Drive, Roxburgh Park.
Please mention that you found them on Melbourne Local Guide.
