Glenny Kebabs grew out of a small food kiosk that Asad Syed opened in Glen Waverley in October 2016, wanting a place where students, local workers and families could eat and catch up. His standing in the car community brought crowds to the ‘Wednesday Night Chills’, and the brand has since been featured by Speedhunters and on The Project.
The halal snack pack, or HSP, is the dish it’s known for: fresh chips topped with your choice of meat and sauces. Mi goreng with tabouli and loaded fries are local favourites too. This shop is at 80 Kingsway.
