Faizan e Madina Masjid on Mahoneys Road in Reservoir is connected with Dawat-e-Islami, a non-political Islamic organisation established in Karachi, Pakistan, in 1981. The movement works internationally to spread the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah, with a focus on religious education and guidance.
In Australia it runs mosques, Islamic centres and Friday prayer venues in several states.
