Malvern Road in South Yarra is one of El Jannah’s newer Melbourne addresses, close to Prahran and Toorak. The chicken is slow-cooked over open flames and comes with Lebanese bread and toum, and the chain uses halal certified suppliers for its chicken at every location.
Fried chicken is coated in a blend of herbs and spices, with chips on the side. Dine in, order ahead for pick-up, or use the delivery apps. The story goes back to Andre Estephan, who came to Western Sydney from Lebanon and opened the first shop in Granville in 1998.
