Founded in 1998, East Preston Islamic College has spent more than 27 years teaching on a large campus on Tyler Street. It describes itself as an Australian school in the Islamic tradition, with that ethos built into every part of school life.
Five values shape the place: learning, achievement, respect, commitment and fairness. The curriculum focuses on core academic skills and on students learning to organise their own work. Scholarships are offered, and the college also takes international students.
