Every Dosa Hut traces back to this Barkly Street shopfront in West Footscray. Founders Anil Kumar Karpurapu and Praveen Indukuri opened it in 2007, after years of travelling long distances to find a good dosa, and they had already run an Indian restaurant called Salaam Namaste.
The first branch began as a mainly South Indian restaurant. Today it serves an array of regional Indian specialties, with dosas still at the heart of the menu.
