Close to Caroline Lake, this Lake Street restaurant was Dosa Hut’s tenth in Melbourne. The chain started out in 2007 with South Indian staples such as dosa and idly, and its kitchens now cook dishes from regions across India.
The founders, Anil Kumar Karpurapu and Praveen Indukuri, met as telecommunications students in Melbourne and began cooking the South Indian food they had trouble finding nearby. Caroline Springs gets the full menu, with vegetarian and meat dishes, for dine-in, takeaway or delivery.
