Building EC on Deakin’s Melbourne Burwood campus houses the university’s Spiritual Centre, off Elgar Road. Alongside a multifaith room, it has two Muslim prayer rooms, one for men and one for women.
Visitors are asked to bring their own prayer mat and head scarf. During Ramadan the university has extended prayer room access so students can pray on campus early in the morning and in the evening.
