Bangladeshi home cooking is the heart of Cha Adda’s menu. Bhorta, the Bengali mashed dishes, comes with daal and plain rice, alongside hilsha cooked in mustard or do’peyaja style, beef or chicken khichuri, chicken roast with egg and polao, and lamb shanks with polao. Beef chapli kebabs, tandoori chicken and mixed kebab plates with naan cover the Indian side.

The restaurant opens for dinner every day and adds breakfast and lunch on weekends. It also takes bookings for private functions and caters for events. Find it at 73 Warrigal Road, Hughesdale, near Oakleigh.
