Free-range chickens turn over the coals for well over an hour at Centre Charcoal Chicken, which gives them crisp skin and a strong smoky flavour. They’re seasoned with house-made chicken salt, and the chips come out fluffy with a good crunch.
Lamb gyros, also cooked over charcoal, are the other reason to call in. Most people take away, but there are a few tables inside and out on Centre Road.
