This is where Cedar Bakery began, opening in Preston in 1998 to bring the Lebanese baking of home to Melbourne. From 2013 the business grew beyond bread and pastries into a place to sit down, and today it’s a concept store with specialty coffee, a breakfast and lunch menu, a grocery section and a wide range of fresh pastries.
Chicken tawook, lamb skewers, pies and pizzas are among the dishes regulars come back for. Sister stores operate in Moonee Ponds and at Watergardens.
