Educators at the Williams Landing Busy Bees speak Chinese, Greek, Telugu, Hindi, Punjabi and Gujarati between them, and they share those languages and cultures with the children. The centre on Sayers Road takes children up to school age, with a kinder program for three- to five-year-olds.
Weekly extras include a music program, a sports and fitness program, and an optional yoga class on Thursdays. Children help with recycling and a veggie garden. Busy Bees began in 1983, when co-founder Marg Randles and her family set up the kind of centre they couldn’t find, and now runs centres in several countries.
