Ishu and Anna opened their first Burger Road in 2017, running it as a two-person team before it grew into a chain of around 16 stores across Melbourne. Ishu came to Australia in 2006 with a hospitality degree and spent more than a decade as a head chef and restaurant manager first.
Beef and chicken burgers are what the chain is known for, served in a playful, modern setting. The Craigieburn store is on Highlander Drive, and the chain publishes a separate halal menu.
