Australia Light Foundation has served Melbourne’s Muslim community since 1994, working from Sunshine Road in Tottenham, near Footscray. It brings worship and Islamic education together with practical help: welfare support, employment assistance and food services.
Young people, older people, families and those out of work or doing it tough are among those it supports, with much of the work done by volunteers. The foundation also funds charity projects overseas, including flood and emergency relief.
Please mention that you found them on Melbourne Local Guide.
