A mother and son run Anatolian Grill, cooking family recipes shared between generations with a Melbourne twist. They have been doing it on Gaffney Street, Coburg North, since 2015.
The Turkish bread is baked in-house and goes with kebabs, skewers, homemade dips, gozleme and pide. Iskender, the lamb dish served with a yoghurt sauce, is on the menu, along with lentil and tripe soups, the Anatolian burger and HSPs. There’s a Turkish breakfast in the mornings, and the kitchen takes catering orders.
