AliQapu shares its name with the Ali Qapu palace in Isfahan and is run by a family that has been serving food for four generations. Starters include mirza ghasemi, a smoked eggplant dip with garlic and tomato; mast-o-khiar, yoghurt with cucumber, walnuts and mint; salad shirazi; and salad olovieh, all served with Persian bread.
A function room is set aside for birthdays, anniversaries and other family occasions. The restaurant is at 840 High Street, Kew East.
