Mantu, steamed Afghan dumplings made from fresh produce, are Pamir’s signature. The long menu also runs to chickpea chicken korma, chicken tikka kebabs and banquets of mains with rice, naan, dips and salad, and vegetarians are well catered for.
The restaurant is named after the Pamir mountains, and the dining room is decorated with Afghan artefacts, paintings and a photograph of the range. It’s at 195 Lonsdale Street in central Dandenong.
