Afghan Master Kebab’s Footscray shop is the sister of the original in Sunshine, with a similar menu in a plain café setting. The mixed kebab is the order to know: juicy chicken skewers alongside kobida, the minced lamb kebab, and tikka, cubes of diced lamb.
Meals come with plenty of the house bread, a little like naan but chewier. Fish and chips are on the menu here too. It’s at 131 Nicholson Street in central Footscray.
